Washington Marriott Wardman Park Upgrades Meeting Space

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Upgraded exhibit spaces at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park allow more flexibility for meeting planners.

Situated at 2660 Woodley Road at Connecticut Avenue, NW,  the Marriott property recently unveiled a multi-million enhancement to its 95,000 square feet of exhibit space, and announced that it was named to Cvent's second annual list of the top 100 meeting hotels in the country.

“We are honored to be ranked among the top 100 meetings and events hotels by Cvent,” said Cynthia McMullen, director of sales and marketing for the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.  “As the meetings landscape continues to evolve we are working hard to make sure that we provide the most sought after service from our seasoned meeting experts, innovative ideas and superior space for meetings and events.  By upgrading our exhibit halls to meeting room grade space, corporate meeting planners have more flexibility and technology capabilities to accommodate a variety of meeting needs."

Exhibit hall upgrades include:

  • Flexible space that can be used an exhibit hall or converted into five meeting rooms with a pre-function foyer
  • Reconfigured air walls
  • New drop ceilings with acoustic tiles
  • New lighting with dimmable controls
  • New exhibit hall entrance

Washington Marriott Wardman Park also features new Marriott Hotels and Resorts technology, designed for guests who embrace the mobile lifestyle for work as well as leisure.

Apps include:

  • Red Coat Direct, a first-of-its-kind app that lets meeting organizers adjust and edit their meeting requests and preferences with a touch of a button and without ever leaving the meeting room
  • Mobile Check-In, that provides an enhanced arrival experience, allowing guests to check-in up to two hours before arrival and sending automatic notifications when a room is ready
