Alvin Wong was appointed as director of sales and marketing at both the 546-room Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Maui and the 555-room Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Hawaii Island.
He will oversee sales, marketing, advertising, public relations and overall business plans for both beachfront resorts.
Wong has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, and began his hospitality career in 1980. Prior to joining Marriott International, he served as director of sales and marketing for the 1,142-room Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Waikiki.
