Matthew Chilton was named general manager of the new Delano Las Vegas hotel, set to open this fall within the Mandalay Resort complex.
Chilton has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years and joined Mandalay Bay as hotel manager in 1999 prior to the resort's opening. Most recently he served as vice president of hotel operations and oversaw the property's large renovation project.
He began his career at The Mirage and Treasure Island, then moved to Mandalay Bay as the resort was opening THEHotel, Shark Reef Aquarium and convention center.
