OWENSBORO, Ky.
Hampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide's global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton by Hilton hotels, has announced the official opening of its newest property, the 150-room Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/ Waterfront located at 401 West Second Street.
The hotel is owned by Bryant Downtown Hotel, LLC. It is the second Hampton property in the Owensboro area and the 33rd in the state. Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront brings 40 new jobs to the area.
The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Smothers Park and Owensboro Convention Center. Located off US 60, the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront offers easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment and attractions, including the Owensboro Museum of Science and History and the International Bluegrass Music Museum.
Guest rooms are equipped with modern amenities designed to help guests feel at home and stay productive, including a microwave, refrigerator, 42-inch TV and clean and fresh Hampton bed®. Inviting suites are also available, offering additional space and a comfortable sleeper sofa. The new hotel also features Hampton's Perfect Mix Lobby, designed with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers as an extension of the guestroom.
The new property also has three meeting rooms, with the largest being just over 1,000 square feet.
