LAS VEGAS
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ unveiled The Chelsea, a new 40,000-square foot event and performance space offering business, meeting and convention planners a unique, avant-garde approach to meetings.
The Chelsea opened in December 2013 and was designed to marry sophisticated design with industrial grit and artistic glamour, featuring reclaimed elements, vintage details, and a memorable grand stair complete with a dramatic chandelier. Distinctive digital displays create surfaces for meetings and groups to expand programming and sponsorship opportunities.
The Chelsea can host events from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions and is located on the third floor of the resort’s West End tower; easily accessible from the resort’s existing meeting areas, rooms, restaurants, lobby and The Strip.
“The Chelsea is growing our meetings and groups business by offering The Cosmopolitan guests an experience that does not exist today,” said John Unwin, CEO of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. “The Chelsea is a design-driven, performance space that will surprise clients with both its intimacy and its scale. From the Maya Hayuk art pieces to the industrial metal mesh detail – this is unlike any space that exists today. ”
The space is highly adaptable and can be configured in many ways to meet client needs, including but not limited to:
-More than 3,000-person events, such as a new product unveiling, vehicle launch, concert or sports event
-2,565-person theater-style general sessions
