ORLANDO
The Westin Orlando Universal Boulevard officially opened its new meeting space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, February 20.
The additional 5,000 square feet of space boosts the property’s potential to host larger events and meetings, and increases its overall function space area to about 13,000 square feet.
Present for the festive event were United States Congressman Daniel Webster; Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association President Richard Maladecki; Westin Orlando General Manager Mike Magnelli; Sr. VP of Operations for Pyramid Hotel Group Jim Merrill; Orange County Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell; and Visit Orlando President & CEO George Aguel.
The property has 315 guest rooms and is also host to a top-tier fitness center and popular Italian dining spot.
