The South Korea MICE Bureau at the Korea Tourism Organization has launched its new website, www.koreaconvention.org.
The site has been refurbished with detailed introduction of major MICE cities, localized activities, unique venues, infrastructure merits as well as accommodation and general tourist information. There are case studies and testimonials for reference as well as toolkits for download. There is also ample information on the different types of planning support available.
The website aims to serve as a handy tool for those who plan conferences, corporate meetings and incentive trips. The site provides resources on what Korea has to offer as a destination for fruitful international events and in addition, there is a useful search tool which allows one to find a location and venue that is best-suited for the events’ needs.
The Korea MICE Bureau aims to position South Korea as an ideal convention destination and increase Asia's market share of the global convention market together with their new slogan; Korea, Beyond Meetings through active marketing of its historic yet modern offerings. The group also works toward enhancing the standards in the convention industry by developing and promoting sound professional practices.
