The Montage Beverly Hills recently named five new members to its leadership team: Masato Kominami, resident manager; Pradeep Raman, executive assistant manager, food & beverage; Jaclyn Groendyke, director of learning; Julie Jangali, executive pastry chef; and Joyce Louie, chef concierge.
As resident manager, Kominami will oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel's rooms division. He previously served as executive assistant manager at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco.
New executive assistant manager, food & beverage Raman most recently served as general manager of the Hampton's new Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, N.Y., and before that as senior vice president of fine dining at Wynn Las Vegas.
Groendke comes to Montage from the St. Regis Monarch Beach, where she held a variety of positions. She is an instructor within the School of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality at Orange Coast College and as director of learning will guide the property's learning and development initiatives.
As executive pastry chef, Jangali will work closely with catering and conference service teams. She has competed in the U.S. National Pastry Competition and worked as a pastry chef at properties including the Baltimore Marriott and Grand Hyatt and Wardman Park Marriott in Washington, D.C.
Louie joins the team as chef concierge, where she will oversee car drivers, bell staff and lobby page. Previously, she was the chef concierge at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
The 201-room Montage Beverly Hills features more than 14,000 square feet of flexible function space.
