Daren Kingi has joined Indianapolis' Visit Indy DMO as senior vice president of sales.
Kingi has more than 29 years of hospitality industry experience, most recently serving as vice president of sales for the Western Mountain Pacific region with Marriott International, overseeing room sales at 65 Marriott properties in five major markets.
At Visit Indy he will lead a 5-person team that generates more than $500 million in annual visitor spending through citywide conventions, single-hotel meetings and group leisure travel.
