Crestline Hotels & Resorts has announced the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation at the 361-room Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile.
The hotel is located within walking distance of North Michigan Avenue shops and restaurants in Chicago's vibrant River North neighborhood. It offers 5,727 square feet of flexible meeting space located on the first and 12th floors with spectacular views of Chicago's skyline.
All guest rooms and suites were completely renovated with new furniture, platform beds, redesigned bathrooms and vanities, as well as fashionable carpet, draperies and lighting. In addition each guestroom offers a new mini-fridge, microwave, and in-room safe.
The renovation included expanding the hotel's room inventory with four additional guest rooms located on the hotel's 12th floor.
Upgraded Entry and Other Enhancements
The new hotel lobby at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile now incorporates the Hilton Garden Inn 'Grow Concept' that provides open space and work/lounge areas that are perfect for impromptu meetings or social gatherings. The hotel lobby welcomes guests with a contemporary style and comfortable furnishings as well as a redesigned bar-height counter that allows guests flexible seating workspaces with convenient power outlets.
The hotel's Business Center is now located in the lobby offering four work stations with 24-inch monitors. Guests are able to check flight status for both O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport from a lobby kiosk that enables printing of a boarding pass.
Additional upgrades to the hotel include new furnishings and soft goods in the meeting space pre-function areas. The hotel now features an expanded and enhanced Fitness Center which has doubled in size; equipment now includes a stretching bench area with mats and fitness balls along with the latest hi-tech cardio trainer treadmills and ellipticals. The pool and surrounding area has also been enhanced with new tile and a new spa tub.
