CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.
The Chattanoogan hotel, a Benchmark Hotel and Benchmark Conference Center as well as the only AAA Four Diamond-rated full-service property in Chattanooga, Tenn., has announced upgraded enhancements for groups holding meetings at the upscale hotel.
The Chattanoogan, which is also the sole IACC-certified hotel in the state of Tennessee, is now offering new interactive teambuilding culinary events.
These include events based on some of the most popular television cooking shows on the air, private themed dining events at the hotel or at The Tennessee Aquarium, multiple dinner options at some of Chattanooga’s best restaurants, and exciting themed parties designed by one of the top destination management companies in the Southeast.
Themed Events
The award-winning LEO Events is now overseeing themed events, such as ChattaVegas, for The Chattanoogan. One of many options offered, ChattaVegas takes guests back to the days of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin’s Vegas, without ever leaving the comfort of The Chattanoogan.
The event includes casino tables with dealers, décor, lighting, prizes, a jazz trio, delicious Vegas Dinner prepared by the culinary team at The Chattanoogan, event coordination, management, labor and set up.
Other specialty offerings include Movie Night, Gatsby Night Themed Dinner and the Good Ole’ Tennessee Party. LEO Events fee is separate from the price of the meeting at The Chattanoogan, but the themed dinner is included in the hotel’s Benchmark Conference Plan (BCP).
Teambuilding
The new teambuilding events at The Chattanoogan include The Chopped Dinner Challenge, where participants compete in the ultimate food challenge creating two dishes from a variety of unique ingredients; Great Burger Challenge; Ultimate Pizza Challenge; and Ultimate Chili Cook Off. The events are designed to promote teamwork, strengthen camaraderie and enhance communication in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Wine and Dine
The Chattanoogan has also enhanced its already popular Dine Around and is now including the option to enjoy dinner at some of the city’s top restaurants, including Alleia, Public House and Meeting Place, at no additional cost. In addition, meeting participants can dine at one of Chattanooga’s most popular attractions, The Tennessee Aquarium, with no added fees.
Guests who would prefer to have dinner at The Chattanoogan now have enhanced dining menus to select from, with offerings ranging from upgraded entrée and dessert selections to a Backyard Barbecue.
Pricing Model and Other Meeting Details
The Benchmark Conference Plan is a one-price-per-person package tailored to individual group requests. It includes overnight accommodations; three meals daily; high-tech meeting space; continuous refreshment service; audiovisual equipment; conference planning manager; valet parking; health club use; service charges; and hotel amenities.
The Chattanoogan presents a reliable learning environment for groups of five to 500. The upscale hotel features a newly renovated high-tech 25,000 square-foot conference center with comprehensive meeting planning and audiovisual support services; 20 dedicated meeting rooms with five general session rooms accommodating 25 to 100 guests; a 16-seat circular board room with a flat data screen; 12 break-out rooms; a 7,500 square-foot ballroom; and an amphitheater with seating for 85.
Continuous refreshment islands allow conference guests to enjoy tremendous variety throughout their meetings, while allowing for the freedom to change the meeting schedule at any time.
