The Princeton Marriott at Forrestal in New Jersey has completed a three-month, multi-million-dollar renovation project, it was announced by David Sharkey, general manager.
The overhaul encompassed all guest rooms, junior suites, and guest room corridors and included the following:
- Elegant room decor where the outside is brought in through the use of natural tones and organic textures.
- Modern bathrooms with granite counters and Marriott's new Thann amenities.
- 32-inch Flat Screen TVs.
- Ergonomically designed desk and chair.
- Cutting-edge wireless Internet technology to connect all devices.
- Eight new Junior Suites with a wet bar, living area, work area, king bed, and large bathroom with two sink areas.
"With Marriott's goal to create brilliant spaces for the Millennial traveler, the new guest room design includes a variety of amenities to help Millennials seamlessly blend work and play," Mr. Sharkey said. "Examples include LED reading lights on the headboards, furniture equipped with plenty of outlets for plug-in devices, and mini-refrigerators and coffee makers in every room."
The Princeton Marriott at Forrestal is situated just minutes from Princeton University on 25 scenic, wooded acres near Plainsboro, N.J. Featuring one of the area's top day spas, the hotel offers all of the amenities of a typical resort, including a health club, swimming pool, jogging trails, bicycle trails with complimentary bikes available for use, indoor tennis and recreational facilities, and 35,000 square feet of modern meeting space.
The hotel is located mid-way between New York City and Philadelphia, and offers easy access to Amtrak train service. Dining options include the Homestate Cafe, Barley's Pub, and the Fireside Grill.
