Trio of Sonoma County Lodgings Wraps Upgrades

SONOMA COUNTY, Calif.

A trio of Sonoma County properties has recently finalized improvement projects to their properties. Here’s a look at some of the details on these Wine Country makeovers.

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn

Elegant updates at this Sonoma-based property include classic Fairmont luxury hotel accommodations, Wine Country Suites, the classy lobby, luxurious Santé dining room, meeting space, resort landscaping and the addition of a new modern wine lounge, named 38º North.

Upscale and modern elements have been integrated into the luxury guest rooms, suites and signature meeting spaces. The goal is a design palette of subtle luxury that leverages the hotel’s heritage and Sonoma Wine Country history.

The new re-styled lobby bar lounge, 38º North, offers more than 50 wines by the glass. Favorites including Screaming Eagle, Kamen and the sparkling Dom Perignon Brut.

The inn offers about 13,000 square feet of meeting space plus ample outdoor function areas.

The Doubletree by Hilton Sonoma Wine Country

The DoubleTree by Hilton Sonoma Wine Country has wrapped a gorgeous guest room upgrade, including the addition of Sweet Dream beds, granite tops, and desk chairs. Bathrooms also received a boost, with new lighting and fixtures.  The lobby area has been refinished with charming seating arrangements, shared tables, charging stations, and brand-new business center stations. And Fire pits and courtyard lounge seating elongate the lobby outside. Guest room corridor renovation and meeting space refreshes have also been undertaken.

The Rohnert Park property has about 18,000 square feet of indoor event space and 30,000 square feet of outdoor function space.

Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa

The Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa in Santa Rosa now offers a redesigned lobby with a hip new look and conversational seating sections where guests may sip wine from the owner's Ehret's Family Winery.   The newly remodeled Executive King rooms were overhauled with the business traveler in mind, and offer sleek desks, separate seating area, ergonomic chairs, data ports, Wi-Fi and more.

The resort offers about 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
