WEST DES MOINES, Iowa
Kinseth Hospitality Company (KHC) recently announced the breaking of ground at the construction site of two new Hilton hotels in West Des Moines. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Homewood Suites, located at 6620 Stagecoach Drive, and Hampton Inn & Suites, located at 6160 Mills Civic Parkway, took place on May 1st.
With nearly 50 guests in attendance West Des Moines Mayor, Steven Gaer, West Des Moines Chamber Chairman, Dean Whitaker, Greater Des Moines CVB Representative, Tiffany Tauscheck, and Kinseth Hospitality Company Executives Linda Skinner, Bruce Kinseth, Ben Kinseth and Les Kinseth broke ground on the new hotel. The dual hotel campus, will offer guest rooms and amenities for leisure, business and extended-stay guests. Both hotels are scheduled for completion in the Spring 2015. The 100-room Homewood Suites and the 102-room Hampton Inn & Suites will both be managed by Kinseth Hospitality Companies.
According to Leslie Kinseth, President of Kinseth Hospitality Companies, “We are excited to get construction started on the Dual Hilton Campus. With its convenient location in the heart of West Des Moines, near Jordan Creek Mall, we feel that the both Hilton hotels will provide the area with first-class, medium-priced, hotel options for business, leisure, and extended stay as well as provide more lodging alternatives to Hilton guests staying in the Des Moines area.”
When completed, the new Homewood Suites will provide guests with the amenities they need to enjoy life on the road, such as roomy suites with fully equipped kitchen, free full hot breakfast, free wireless internet, laundry facilities, and on-site meeting space. All Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels offer a on-site 24 hour convenience store, outdoor grill and patio, and complimentary dinner, including wine and beer Monday through Thursday.*
The Hampton Inn & Suites will allow guests to rest easy with guest room amenities including the Hampton Clean & Fresh Bed plush comforter, choice of pillows and flat screen television. Guests will also enjoy complimentary On the House hot breakfast daily, free wireless internet access, 24-hour business center, indoor pool, and fitness center.
