Westin Plans Ahead for Nashville Debut

NASHVILLE

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced that its Westin brand will soon launch in Nashville, Tenn., as part of the ongoing redevelopment of the city's downtown.

Opening in early 2017, The Westin Nashville will be located across the street from Music City Center, the recently opened 1.2-million-square-foot convention center.

Construction on The Westin Nashville will start this summer at the previously acquired Cokesbury site. Owned by Nashville Hospitality Capital, LLC and managed by Wischermann Partners, Inc., The Westin Nashville will feature 430 spacious rooms, extensive meeting space and all the brand's signature amenities.

Highlights of The Westin Nashville will include a signature restaurant, a rooftop pool and lounge, an indoor pool, full-service spa and WestinWORKOUT fitness studio. The hotel will also offer approximately 25,800 square feet of leading-edge meeting facilities for meetings and social functions of all sizes, and a business center.

Located at 100 Clark Place, The Westin Nashville will be walking distance to the city's top entertainment venues including Ryman Auditorium and Bridgestone Arena, as well as numerous shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. Other nearby attractions include the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, Music Row and The Pantheon. Less than eight miles from Nashville International Airport (BNA), the hotel will also offer proximity to the offices of KPMG, AT&T and Deloitte.
