La Quinta Resort & Club and PGA West, A Waldorf Astoria Resort announced the appointment of Timothy Rutland as executive director of sales and marketing.
He brings more than 25 years of exprience to the position, previously serving as director of sales and marketing at the Stein Erikson Lodge Deer Valley in Utah.
In addition to the Stein Erikson portfolio, Rutland has also hed executive positions at California properties The Beverly Hilton and Raffles L'Ermitage in Beverly Hills and worked for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for nine years in various cities.
