Virginia's Richmond Region Tourism named Matt Robinette as director of convention and sports services.
In this position, he will serve as a liaison between meeting planners, hotels, vendors and regional partners, and will develop strategic plans for future events.
Robinette has more than 15 years of experience in event planning, previosly working as a sports sales manager for the Virginia Beach CVB and as an event supervisor for the City of Virginia Beach.
