NEW YORK
The boutique Archer New York is now open in Manhattan's Garment District neighborhood. The new-build, 22-story luxury hotel offers 180 guest rooms, a rooftop bar and a David Burke Restaurant.
General Manager Michele Mangino worked with the design team to honor the hotel's New York roots with locally sourced decor and finishes, including lights made in Brooklyn, millwork form Queens and furniture upholstery from a town in Westchester to the north.
Four different room types with distinct design palettes are available, highlighted by the corner Archer rooms on upper floors, featuring exposed brick and hardwood floors. The hotel will provide guests with an array of nightly turndown treats including cupcakes from a local bakery and handmade black and white cookies.
A unique twist on your standard hotel loyalty program, the hotel offers a set of Archers Deck playing cards that feature more than 50 tips of courtesy and manners. The tips are central to the hotel staff's code of conduct, and guests seen displaying courtesy or etiquette may be given "Class Act" cards that can be collected and redeemed at the hotel store.
