WAIKOLOA, Hawaii
Hilton Waikoloa Village has continued improving Hawaii Island’s preeminent resort through updates and renovations, and by the end of September 2014, will boast 175,000 square feet of newly refurbished meeting and convention function areas.
Featuring a wide selection of ballrooms, breakout rooms, pre-function areas, exhibit facilities, promenades, boardrooms and scenic outdoor venues, the conference center space will include a touch of the contemporary while maintaining a refined tropical atmosphere.
The conference center is receiving several updates, including additional hang-points to better facilitate technical audiovisual productions, enhanced lighting with flexible applications and new wall and ceiling coverings to minimize audio reflection and provide clear acoustics. An expanded stage and two tiers for audiences in the Monarchy Ballroom will provide meeting and event organizers with additional space for guests and visitors.
Inspired by the Hawaiian Islands, the tropical theme is tied together through the new textures and floral patterns that permeate the furnishings, fixtures and artwork found throughout the facility. Pops of color and native materials are found in abundance, as traces of blues, corals and indigenous wood now decorate the first-class meeting facilities. Boasting the largest amount of convention space on the outer islands, Hilton Waikoloa Village is the ideal location to accommodate all sizes and types of gatherings.
The resort blends seamlessly with the surrounding tropical foliage of the island, culminating in a modern and luxurious destination for business professionals. “With the freshly renovated and forward-looking design of our conference center on property, Hilton Waikoloa Village is positioned to meet the demands of meeting professionals across the board,” noted Debi Bishop, general manager of Hilton Waikoloa Village.
