NEWARK, Ohio
Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Newark, Ohio, a full-service facility located just off State Route 16, within walking distance of historic downtown Newark and a 35-mile drive from Columbus International Airport.
The newly renovated six-floor, 117-room hotel (converted from the former Newark Metropolitan Hotel) offers access to several major business headquarters and offices, including State Farm and Boeing; educational institutions, including The Ohio State University (Newark Branch) and Denison University; and charming tourist attractions, such as The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology, Buckeye Winery and the historic Village of Granville.
DoubleTree by Hilton Newark, Ohio is owned and operated by The Jerry McClain Company and managed by Columbus Hospitality. It is the third DoubleTree by Hilton property serving the metropolitan Columbus area.

Remodeled Guest Rooms and Meeting Space
DoubleTree by Hilton Newark, Ohio debuts a contemporary new look that includes a resigned lobby featuring an expanded business center and work stations.
Guest rooms and suites are equipped with modern furnishings and signature amenities, including the DoubleTree by Hilton SweetDreams bed, 37-inch HDTV, work station with desk and executive-style chair, one refrigerator in standard guest rooms and two refrigerators in suites. Guests will receive complimentary WiFi in guestrooms and throughout the hotel.
Offering over 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, the hotel can accommodate a range of meeting and event needs from business meetings to banquets and wedding receptions for up to 220 guests. The meeting facility features brand new, state-of-the-art A/V equipment, and the hotel also offers a 24-hour business center.
In addition, a 24-hour fully-equipped fitness center, heated indoor pool, and an outside patio with fireplace are available to guests.
Additional Amenities and Rewards
Elements Local Bistro, a full-service restaurant and lounge, offers a casual dining experience featuring locally-sourced ingredients and an extensive variety of wines, cocktails and local craft beers. For a more casual grab-and-go option, the Market Pantry in the hotel's lobby offers a selection of ready-made sandwiches, beverages and other snacks.

To mark the opening, the hotel will offer 1,000 bonus Hilton HHonors points on the best available rate for stays completed between August 1, 2014 and February 1, 2015. To be eligible, stays must include at least one night from Sunday through Thursday.
