L.A. Airport Hotel Revamps Conference Center

BURBANK, Calif.

The Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport has revamped its convention center— including the foyer, three built-in registration areas, and Academy Ballroom, and the event areas Vine A/B and Sunset A/B .

The venue can accommodate up to 800 guests classroom style and 1,300 for banquets.

Contemporary decor is one of the highlights of the revamped facility, with gray and blue hues accented by dark wood paneling that adorns the main foyer. Easily accessible load-in and load-out access, a new wireless internet system with increased capacity, built-in rigging points, and ample parking are among the top features.

In addition to the convention center, the hotel near Burbank's Bob Hope Airport (BUR) features a group offer to lure meeting planners. Travelers that book a meeting to be held now through Dec. 31, 2014, can take advantage of the Pick Your Perks offer based on the total room nights contracted for an event. Business professionals who book 20 to 50 room nights can pick two perks, while 51 to 100 room nights earn three of the following incentives:
