Vegas will receive yet another addition to its already-impressive array of meetings-friendly hotels with the launch of Delano Las Vegas, scheduled to open Sept. 2, 2014.
Aiming to blend the chic style of the iconic South Beach brand with the vibrant energy of the Las Vegas Strip, the new luxury hotel boasts 1,117 guest suites and 20,000 square feet of event space sprawling across four floors.
The non-smoking, non-gaming, all-suite hotel offers elegant accommodations and dynamic social spaces such as Franklin, an eclectic lounge; 3940 Coffee + Tea; and Della’s Kitchen, where historic farmhouse meets urban kitchen.
While the new property will have its own private pool area, Delano Las Vegas’ guests also have access to neighboring Mandalay Bay Beach, located on 11 acres and featuring 2,700 tons of real sand, a 1.6 million gallon wave pool and 100 rentable cabanas, day beds, bungalows and personalized villas.
Other amenities include a spa showcasing 12 treatment rooms and a sleek health club.
At the adjoining Mandalay Bay meetings/convention center, guests can experience 1.7 million gross square feet of meeting space, including indoor/outdoor venues, ballrooms, and a fully-equipped events center with modern sound, lighting, audio, and visual equipment for the largest of productions.
