ATLANTA
Marcus Hotels & Resorts announced the completion of its multimillion dollar renovation of the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, including a complete redesign of all 372 guest rooms.
The renovation also included an expansion of the hotel’s 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space to include two additional boardrooms and a Westin Executive Club Lounge.
A number of local Georgia elements were incorporated into the rest of the hotel, such as an illuminated Live Oak on display near the front desk, a modern perspective on the Georgia state tree. The custom-made iron sculpture was created by local artist Andrew T. Crawford.
In addition, the hotel has introduced a new full-service restaurant, Savor bar & kitchen, with Executive Chef Robert Chaffin and Restaurant Chef John Bjorge at the helm. The farm-to-table eatery utilizes products from local vendors and farms to make signature Southern dishes.
Westin Atlanta Perimeter North is located 15 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta.
