Great Hotels of the World Adds Six Properties

LONDON

Great Hotels of the World, the London-based hotel sales and marketing alliance, has added six new properties to its collection, announcing new hotel members in Vienna, Marrakech, Dublin, Brussels and Fuengirola (Spain).

Here’s a quick look at the half-dozen properties, and some of their meeting capabilities.

Arcotel Wimberger Vienna, Austria

Recently renovated, the 1871 hotel’s 225 colorful rooms have been redesigned to complement the dynamic city of Vienna. The hotel boasts business and conference facilities, with six meeting rooms featuring modern technology and a fully equipped business suite. Visitors also have access to an indoor car park and Wi-Fi throughout. The hotel is also home to a spa and fitness center, with massage treatments and more.

El Andalous Hotel & Spa, Marrakech, Morocco

Set in lush palm-filled gardens, this hotel has facilities that include a large swimming pool, gym and a traditional Moroccan hammam (steam room area). A hairdresser is available on site and guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Each room has a private balcony and there are five restaurants for guests to choose from, featuring North Africa’s unique cuisine. The hotel’s conference center is currently being extended, giving it capacity for 1,000 attendees.

Westbury Hotel Dublin

Westbury Hotel is a five-star property that showcases The Gallery Lounge, home to a prominent private art collection and the setting for the Westbury’s traditional Afternoon Tea. Guests can take advantage of a fully equipped fitness suite, as well as valet parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. The hotel’s main restaurant, The Wilde, offers an elegant touch to traditional Irish fare, plus an extensive wine list. On the business front, the hotel’s meeting rooms are equipped with the latest conferencing and audiovisual technology.

The Alexander Hotel, Dublin

Le Plaza Hotel, Brussels

Opened in 1931, Le Plaza is set in the famous museum district of Brussels. The 187 rooms of Le Plaza are elegant, with the Presidential Suite one of the largest in the entire region. The hotel offers valet parking and babysitting services, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout and a modern fitness suite. Hotel IPV Palace & Spa, Fuengirola (Spain)

On Spain’s famed Costa del Sol, this spa resort sits directly on the seafront in gardens next to the medieval Castle of Sohail, a 20-minute drive from Málaga International Airport. The spa offers a range of treatments, plus a Jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, Roman thermal and Turkish baths.
