TAMPA, Fla.
The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Tampa Bay, located in Rocky Point and operated by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, has wrapped a multi-phased $6 million renovation.
The project transformed the entire property, from the front entrance to the 7th floor, leaving no areas untouched, including the 5,800 square feet of meeting and event space.
The waterfront property’s 203 suites now feature signature Sweet Dreams bedding. Each suite was redesigned with bright airy tones, rich wood furnishings and marble textures. The suites offer dramatic natural lighting and a contemporary palette. Each suite is 550+ square feet and includes elegant living areas, wet bars, work areas and views of the surrounding bay.
The hotel offers 5,800 square feet of versatile event space ranging from intimate board rooms to an expansive conference space and enclosed climate controlled terrace tent which also overlooks the bay.
A 24-hour “grab-and-go” outlet located in the main lobby serves treats for late night snacking or busy guests. The business center includes four new work stations and two printing stations.
Originally opened as The Pickett Suites in 1986 and reflagged in 1999, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tampa Bay has hosted celebrities and discerning guests for nearly 30 years.
