Spire Hospitality has announced the completion of an extensive $2 million renovation at Courtyard by Marriott Durham near Duke University/Downtown.
Previously acquired by AWH Partners, the ownership entity of Spire Hospitality, the hotel debuts a new modern look that includes a renovation of guest rooms, corridors and exterior, and the lobby now features Courtyard by Marriott’s most up-to-date hotel brand design.
Located within minutes from Duke University and Downtown Durham, the 146-room Courtyard Durham near Duke University/Downtown now boasts fully renovated guest rooms, including new carpet throughout the hotel, newly installed furniture in the King Rooms and ergonomically designed chairs in the double-guest rooms.
With 1,250 square feet of meeting space, the newly renovated Courtyard Durham near Duke University/Downtown presents a potential environment for smaller meetings, conferences and special events. Its two intimate meeting rooms feature high-speed Internet access.
