NEW YORK
Andaz Wall Street recently debuted Dina Rata restaurant and bar, which opened October 6th. Offering upscale American bistro cuisine and creative cocktails in the heart of New York’s Financial District, the new space overlooks Pearl Street as well as Andaz Wall Street’s courtyard, where the property’s seasonal Biergarten and Farmers’ Market are held.
Dina Rata seats just over 60 patrons, which includes a private dining space that can be reserved for parties of up to about 16. Designed by interior designer Larah Moravek, Dina Rata the restaurant features a warm color palette of browns and reds.
The intimate bar and restaurant includes comfortable red leather banquettes and chairs, wood and marble dining tables, sheer curtains and a finished marble bar with brown leather seats. Chalkboards located behind the bar display the day’s menus and specials.
The new design aims to offer an inviting and comfortable atmosphere akin to that of a residential apartment, reflecting the revitalization of downtown and influx of residents who are making this renewed neighborhood home.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menus at Dina Rata were conceptualized and executed by the hotel’s Chef, Victor Cruz, and feature fresh and seasonal dishes using many ingredients sourced locally and inspired by the Hudson Valley.
Breakfast at Dina Rata includes “Get it Chilled” and “Get it Hot” items, and the lunch crowd can choose from a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and other upscale bistro items.
The extensive cocktail menu at Dina Rata is prepared with fresh, house-made ingredients, syrups and a range of premium liquors created by the bar’s resident mixologists. The bar also has a variety of local and international beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages.
Andaz Wall Street features 253 guest rooms, over 10,000 square feet of event space, complimentary Wi-Fi, minibars with non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, and a 24-hour gym.
