The Hotel del Coronado, outside San Diego, Calif., named Wayne Harth as director of catering and special events and Ed Christensen as director of conference services.
Harth comes to the Hotel del Coronado from the Fairmont Chicago Millenium Park, where he held the director of catering position for nearly 20 years. He also managed catering sales and executive meetings at other luxury properties including the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles and the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero Center in San Francisco.
Christensen brings more than 30 years of experience to his new position. He has served as a banquet and catering director at hotels including Omni's La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif., La Quinta Resort & Club, the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa and The Arizona Biltmore.
