SAN FRANCISCO
The Bently Reserve in downtown San Francisco named Jim Bruels as director of events and sales. He will be the primary contact for parties interested in booking the venue's Banking Hall, conference center or nine meeting rooms.
Bruels brings more than 15 years of sales experience to his new position, most recently serving as director of sales at the Cartwright Hotel Union Square, also in San Francisco.
Prior, he was the regional sales manager/director of business travel with Larkspur Hotels & Resorts.
He is an advocate for green travel, and also opened and launched the Orchard Garden Hotel, California's first LEED certified hotel.
