At the recent meeting of the Board of Directors of IACC-Americas, a number of officers were re-elected and a new Vice President was also elected for a two-year term.
T.J. Fimmano, General Manager at Dolce Hotels and Resorts/GE Crotonville in Ossining, NY was re-elected President. He had served most recently as President of the Board of Directors and begins his second term. Fimmano served on the Annual Conference Planning Committee for eight years, and was Co-Chair of the 25th and 26th Annual Conferences.
A member of the Board of Directors since 2006, he also served on the Quality Committee and as Co-Chair of the Sustainability Task Force which introduced the IACC Code of Sustainability and was a member of the IACC 2.0 Task Force which developed IACC’s Roadmap for the Future.
Sean Anderson, VP Operations for Sodexo Conferencing, was elected First Vice President/Finance. He begins his second term as VP and also served as Secretary. Anderson had been on the Board of Directors for five years and IACC’s Global Board of Directors for four.
He was Chair of the Leadership Development Committee and has actively served on the organisation’s Marketing and Member2Member Committees for several years
Alex Cabañas, President & CEO of Benchmark Hospitality International was re-elected Vice President. He has been actively involved with IACC since 2006 when he joined the Emerging Trends Committee and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2010 where he served as Co-Chair of the IACC 2.0 Task Force developing IACC’s Roadmap for the Future and on the CEO Selection Committee.
Nancy Lindemer, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing at FLIK Hotels and Conference Centers at Babson Executive Conference Center in Babson Park, MA was elected Vice President. Nancy has been an active member of the IACC Board of Directors since 2013. She has been active on the Marketing Committee since 2003 and has served as Committee Co-Chair from 2007 – 2012. Nancy is also a part of the Annual Conference Planning Committee since 2013, chairing the Conference Marketing Committee.
