BATTLE CREEK, Mich.
Courtyard Battle Creek opened its doors in Battle Creek, Mich., on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, featuring the brand's latest contemporary room design.
Located at 12891 Harper Village Drive, the 102-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Battle Creek Hotels, LLC, and managed by Amerilodge Group, LLC, of Rochester Hills, Mich. It offers convenient access to Kellogg Company Headquarters, Binder Park Zoo, Harper Village Shopping Center and Bailey Park/C.O. Brown Stadium.
The new room design provides flexible yet comfortable spaces that enable easier access to technology. Upon arrival, for example, guests can store bags on the "Luggage Drop" and plug personal devices into the "Tech Drop" ledge for seamless technology integration.
Signature furniture and architectural elements replace traditional art in the new guest rooms. The "LoungeAround" sofa offers a comfortable area for relaxing or for working. The new design also features a light desk on wheels, allowing guests to work from anywhere in the room.
The business library features several computers, along with a printer and separate stations dedicated solely to printing airline boarding passes and checking flight statuses.
The four-story hotel features an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and guest laundry, and offers 1,400 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 100 people.
Courtyard by Marriott now boasts more than 950 locations in 38 countries and territories.
