Starwood is set for takeoff in Buffalo, N.Y., where a new 153-room property is preparing for a December 18 launch.
Aloft Buffalo Airport is just 10 minutes from Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) and offers free shuttle service to and from the airport, as well as within a 5-mile radius of the hotel.
The property boasts an indoor pool, workout gym, 24/7 "refuel" snack station and bar and lounge, plus a nearby golf course.
Planners have two meeting spaces to work with, including an area known as "tactic" offering A/V set-up, (including a 50” flat-panel plasma TV with both laptop hook-up and a DVD player) free Wi-Fi, easels, flipcharts, and boards for doodling and noodling.
