Starwood is set to launch a new Le Meridien property in New Orleans that will show off a rooftop pool, colorful dining concept and extensive meeting space.
The 410-key property, including 22 suites, has announced a Dec. 15, 2014, opening at a downtown locale near the French Quarter. The property will offer 15 meeting spaces, including a spacious ballroom with capacity for groups of up to 500.
The on-site Longitude 90 restaurant, will specialize in Creole and French fare with a wide selection of both traditional and unique eclairs; fine wine is another emphasis. Attendees staying at the Le Meridien New Orleans might also appreciate the on-site fitness facility, nearby golf courses and views of the Mississippi River and downtown New Orleans.
