MIAMI
The opening of the Miami Beach EDITION, a next-generation urban resort by Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International, offers Miami-bound groups a unique oceanfront complex designed for 21st century recreation, socializing, networking and business.
Located in the Mid-Beach area—the historic “heart of Miami Beach” between South Beach and North Beach—on a three and a half-acre private enclave stretching from Collins Avenue to the ocean shoreline, The Miami Beach EDITION is elegantly designed, intricately interlinked complex of structures, spaces and settings.
The new property boasts 294 unique rooms and suites, some with oversized furnished terraces; 28 private bungalow rooms with private outdoor space—some with two stories, plunge pool and decks overlooking the beach; a 2,300-square-foot penthouse, surrounded by a terrace; and a signature restaurant, plus complimentary use of the 24-hour fitness facilities, complimentary high-speed wireless internet access throughout the hotel and ample function spaces.
The Miami Beach hotel’s dramatic 8,300-square-foot Private Event Space accommodates up to 550 guests for banquets (920 theater seating); and has its own dedicated entrance on Collins Avenue as well as a 3,200-square-foot naturally lit pre-function space. A 2,400-square-foot private outdoor event terrace, with an expansive ocean view is an option for evening cocktail receptions for up to 240, overlooking the Atlantic.
Three flexible meeting studios with natural light range in size from 522 square feet to 754 square feet and can be combined to accommodate up to 120 guests for banquets; 190 for receptions; 117 for classroom set-ups and 136 guests for theater seating.
