The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center announced the appointment of Anthony Arbeeny as general manager.
He brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the position, most recently serving as general manager of the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, and as general manager of the Hyatt Fairfax and Fair Lakes prior to that.
Arbeeny is also an acclaimed chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
Located near the Washington Convention Center and the White House, the Westin recently completed a $17 million renovation and offers 406 guest rooms and more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
