IACC-Europe Elects New President

LONDON, UK

The International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) has elected Rachael Bartlett as president of IACC-Europe for a two-year term.

She currently serves as Head of Sales & Marketing at Warwick Conferences, University of Warwick, in England.

Bartlett assumes the role of President after serving as Vice President and member of the IACC Global Board of Directors for the past four years.  She succeeds Jeu Bressers, who steps down after serving as president for five years.  According to Bartlett, "Jeu has made considerable achievements and progress establishing the IACC-Europe chapter since its formation in 2011 and the board of directors is grateful for his valuable contributions to IACC.

She added that the chapter’s focus for 2015 is on continuing to grow its educational platforms and to raise awareness of the IACC brand and its venues.

Bartlett has 20 years of experience in the conference center market beginning with Principal-Hayley conference centers as a Business Development Manager, where she was first introduced to IACC at the IACC-Americas annual conference.

She has also worked for other IACC member conference centers since this time, Macquarie Graduate School of Management and Mount Eliza Business School, the Sundial  Group and at DeVere Venues at Staverton Park in Northamptonshire.  For the past six years, she has been head of sales and marketing at Warwick Conferences.
