Healthy Addition for Atlantic City Resort

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.

Tropicana Casino & Resort and AtlantiCare have partnered on a sprawling new health and fitness complex, which will open to the public during the second quarter of 2015.

The center will be two stories and 12,455 square feet, offering ample fitness equipment, classes, programming and amenities and be located on Brighton Avenue, adjacent to Bluemercury Spa.

The dual-level fitness center will include the latest in cardio and weight training equipment as well as three rooms for health and wellness classes; and group fitness programs, including, but not limited to group cycling, Zumba, Yoga, Tai Chi and other strength training, aerobic and mind-body classes. Executive locker rooms will include saunas and showers. Guests and members will have use of towels, wash clothes, and toiletries.

AtlantiCare will staff the facility with certified fitness professionals and customer service representatives. To fully integrate the AtlantiCare LifeCenter Fitness into the Tropicana resort experience, AtlantiCare LifeCenter staff will also lead select classes at Tropicana’s pool, beach and its Boogie Nights nightclub.

The introduction of AtlantiCare LifeCenter Fitness at Tropicana is part of $35 million in approved renovations planned by Tropicana. The projects are funded by Tropicana Atlantic City Corp. and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority..
