Morgans Hospitality named Michael Pace new general manager of the CLIFT Hotel San Francisco. He brings more than 20 years of international hospitality experience to his new role, leading the 100-year-old, 372-room hotel.
Pace began his management career in Italy at the Forte Village Resort Hotel and has worked in hotels in France, Germany, England and Malta.
He moved to California in 1996 and has since worked at San Francisco hotels including Kimpton properties, the InterContinental Marc Hopkins, W Hotel San Francisco and most recently the Hotel Adagio.
Pace also co-created and launched Kimpton's Earthcare initiative, one of the leading environmental sustainability programs in the industry.
