Portland Tech Hub Welcomes New Hilton
PORTLAND/HILLSBORO, Ore.
Embassy Suites Hotels, the upscale Hilton Worldwide brand of all-suite hotels, unveiled its newest property, the Embassy Suites Portland/Hillsboro.
Centrally located in Portland's tech hub, Silicon Forest, the 165 all-suite hotel is the first and only full-service hotel in the immediate area.
Embassy Suites Portland/Hillsboro offers a flexible meeting and conference space totaling 4,800 square feet spread across six meeting rooms; three of which can be opened up to create a 3,000-square-foot ballroom. For smaller meetings, guests have the option of selecting one of two board rooms, each able to host 14-16 people or one 780-square-foot meeting room.
Guests are able to dine during lunch and dinner in the restaurant and lounge Sprigs, which features progressive regional cuisine highlighting the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Local wines from the Willamette Valley and local microbrews are offered on the menu as well as specialty cocktails.
Within a mile of the hotel is the MAX Light Rail line, which can be used to reach nearby Beaverton and downtown Portland, where they'll find ample shopping centers, restaurants, craft breweries and more. Business travelers will appreciate the hotel is within minutes of Hillsboro Airport and many of the area's major companies including IBM, Intel, Nike, Symantec, Wells Fargo, Solar World, and Yahoo.
The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, plus a heated indoor saline pool and complimentary 24-7 fitness center. Guests have the personal choice of working on a PC or Apple computer in the complimentary 24-7 business center and can utilize PrinterOn, the remote printing service, throughout the hotel.
