ORLANDO
Waramaug Hospitality wrapped a total renovation of the 389-key Sheraton Orlando North, a makeover totaling $4.5 million or $12,000 per room.
The work includes all new guest rooms and bathrooms, corridors, club lounge, public spaces and lobby, meeting rooms and conference facilities. The property also upgraded its exterior and landscaping.
In conjunction with the renovation, the traditional Irish pub An Tobar which closed in 2005 was re-launched. An Tobar features a 60-foot-long solid wood bar and three levels of Dublin streetscape decor, all constructed in Ireland and reassembled by Irish craftsmen.
The hotel features 19,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that can accommodate up to 900 people, including its 7,500-square-foot Grand Galaxy Ballroom.
Other facilities include a sleek business center, concierge floor with private lounge, Sheraton Fitness and outdoor pool with fountains and Jacuzzi.
