DoubleTree Transformation for OKC Lodging

OKLAHOMA CITY

DoubleTree by Hilton launched the DoubleTree by Hilton Oklahoma City Airport, the brand's first property in Oklahoma’s capital city.

Formerly a Cambria Suites, the 134-room full-service hotel has commenced property-wide renovations that include stylish design updates and furnishings throughout the lobby, guest rooms and public areas. The hotel is owned by Suenos LLC and managed by HP Hotels, the same team that owns and operates Hilton Garden Inn North Quail Springs in Oklahoma City.

Among the renovation highlights, the hotel will aim for a chic new look that includes modern architectural updates, high ceilings, an open lobby and subtle neutral color tones throughout the hotel. The hotel's oversized guest rooms feature LCD HDTVs, a refrigerator and microwave, ergonomic work stations, the inviting Sweet Dreams bed experience and complimentary Wi-Fi available in-room and throughout the hotel. Additional complimentary amenities include an indoor heated pool and hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, on-site parking and shuttle service to and from the airport, and within a five-mile radius of the hotel.

Guests can dine at the Optima Restaurant which offers a diverse menu of classic American fare, including daily chef specials and signature dishes such as house rib eye and pan-seared southwest chicken. River Run is the hotel's full service bar. Terrace seating is available and the hotel offers room service as well as a 24-hour market available for grab-and-go food, beverages, microwavable items, and assorted sundries.

Three flexible meeting rooms create more than 1,600 feet of flexible event space. For smaller group meetings, the hotel offers the Meetings Simplified by DoubleTree by Hilton package from $25.00 per person, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting Wi-Fi, meeting room supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, and all day non-alcoholic beverage service. On-site catering is also available.

Just off highway I-40 and four miles from Will Rogers World Airport (OKC), the hotel is nearby such local lures as the Bricktown Entertainment District, White Water Bay Water Park, Stockyards City, Oklahoma City Zoo, Chesapeake Arena, Gaylord Pickens-Oklahoma City Heritage, Memorial Institute, Adventure District and more. Additionally, business travelers will be nearby businesses such as Boeing, AT&T, Dell, Raytheon and the GE Research Center.
