NEW YORK CITY
The Knickerbocker Hotel opened its doors recently on the corner of 42nd Street and Broadway in New York City, in the heart of Times Square.
The newly redeveloped hotel boasts 330 guest rooms, including 27 Junior Suites and four Tribute Suites, a fitness center, a 2,200 square-foot event space, upscale food and dining options, and a 7,500 square-foot rooftop bar and terrace with views of New York City's skyline.
A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, The Knickerbocker offers proximity to New York City attractions such as Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, Broadway theaters and Bryant Park.
Designed by the architectural firm Gabellini Sheppard, the Hotel's interior aims for a sleek, contemporary appeal and an urban respite from the bustling streets of New York City. All accommodations feature customized layouts with soaring 12-foot ceilings, 8-foot doors and 6-foot windows.
The Knickerbocker has partnered with Charlie Palmer to debut several dining venues throughout the hotel, including Charlie Palmer at The Knick – the hotel's full service restaurant and bar, and St. Cloud – which will be a rooftop bar with a signature cigar lounge from tobacconist Nat Sherman.
The iconic property first opened in 1906 and has served as business offices as well during the course of its long history.
