SAN FRANCISCO
Hotel Zephyr, a whimsical re-recreation of the Radisson Fisherman’s Wharf, is readying for a late April launch following a redesign with numerous unexpected elements.
With its new look driven by Davidson Hotels & Resorts and international design firm Dawson Design Associates, Hotel Zephyr will showcase materials ranging from recycled corrugated metal and cargo containers to upcycled nautical materials and shipping crates.
The property, currently the site of the Radisson Fisherman’s Wharf and spanning over the entire block bound by Jefferson, Powell & Beach St., was acquired by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust in December 2013.
Hotel Zephyr Fisherman’s Wharf will feature 361 waterfront guest quarters, many including personal balconies and views of the stunning San Francisco Bay and elegant cityscapes, including panoramic vistas of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf, Coit Tower and the Bay Bridge. Communal gathering areas feature classic games with unique twists, social activities and laid-back lounging alongside snazzy fire pits.
The property is planning to offer 1,200 square feet of unique indoor meeting space, and more than 11,000 square feet of alfresco function space.
