TUSCALOOSA, Ala.
Embassy Suites Hotels, the Hilton Worldwide brand of all-suite hotels, just opened its first property in Tuscaloosa, Ala., offering 154 suites, the brand's latest design concept and a new on-site restaurant, The Side by Side, led by James Beard award-winning chef, Chris Hastings.
The Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa Alabama Downtown is owned by Tuscaloosa Hotel Partners, LLC and managed by Wilson Hotel Management, LLC.
At The Side by Side restaurant, chef Chris Hastings blends French, Southern and California-styles of cooking. Taking cues from Alabama’s regional harvest, the seasonal dishes and cocktails are served in the airy dining room featuring an open kitchen.
With 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space comprising an executive boardroom and a divisible ballroom with 16-foot-high ceilings, the hotel can host events for up to 500 attendees.
The new hotel features the brand's signature amenities including its free made-to-order breakfast, a two-hour complimentary Evening Reception with snacks and beverages, two-room suites with a separate living area, private bedroom, Wi-Fi, 42-inch HDTV’s, a wet bar fitted with a microwave, a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. Guests also have access to the 24-hour Embassy BusinessLink Business Center, an indoor swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness center.
Ample shopping and dining options are conveniently nearby, as are the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, University of Alabama and the Bryant Conference Center. Business guests will also appreciate the close proximity to many Fortune 500 companies, the Mercedes- Benz U.S. International plant and the U.S. Courthouse and City Hall.
