Boston Hotel Unveils New Room Service Concept

The Royal Sonesta Boston has introduced an all new in-room dining concept, Studio Express, which comes with a guaranteed 15-minute room delivery. 

The hotel’s popular new coffee and pastry shop, Studio, also offers special breakfast and lunch menus designed for in-room dining. Studio’s staff delivers the food in environmentally friendly packaging to guest rooms within 15 minutes of ordering. The new Room Service program for breakfast and lunch has already resulted in high marks from guests for flavor, efficiency, price and service, according to the property.

“We are challenging the traditional in-room dining service. Guests are raving about the menus and the service” says Michael Medeiros, general manager. Royal Sonesta Boston is the first hotel in Boston/Cambridge to offer the 15-minute guaranteed service, and Medeiros thinks it will set a new standard in guest services.

The Studio Express menus are offered for breakfast and lunch. Traditional room service continues to be available in the evening.

The Royal Sonesta Boston has a unique location with unobstructed views of the Charles River and Boston skylines. It is newly renovated with 400 revamped guest rooms, and offers a vibrant collection of restaurants including ArtBar, Restaurant dante and Studio. 

The property also boasts 26,000 square feet of event space that includes a 3,000-square-foot terrace looking over the Charles River.
