HILTON HEAD, S.C.
Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort unveiled 323 restyled studio suites, including 20 oceanfront suites, to complete the resort’s $17 million rejuvenation. The final project included enrichments to the floors, kitchens, furniture and décor of the suites to create a contemporary-Caribbean look and feel.
The 530-square-foot suites aim to offer guests a relaxing beach vibe with bright blue and green colors accenting the new headboards, beddings and pillows. The curtains and shutters now feature coral orange and dark turquoise. The suites have new barstools, marble-top tables and stone-tile entryways. In addition, new backsplashes, stainless steel microwaves and refrigerators were installed in the kitchens, adding a casual-chic flare.
The restyled suites were the final piece of the resort’s $17 million rejuvenation. Previously, the property revitalized the front entrance, lobby, meeting facilities, fitness center and Ocean Tides Spa. Outdoor areas were transformed with updates to the upper and lower courtyards, beach and pool access, the addition of another fire pit near the deck of its HH Prime steakhouse, and the revamped Buoy Bar, a poolside bar serving tropical cocktails, sandwiches, salads and light fare. The hotel also revealed its new pool complex containing a renovated adult pool, Kid’s Splash Zone with a splash pad, and new 3,600-square-foot family pool with a “walk in” zero entry and ledge seating along the dunes.
Omni Hilton Head’s rejuvenation is one of many transformations occurring on the prosperous island. Within the past two years, more than $400 million has been infused into the city’s economic developments to improve neighboring resorts and the Shelter Cover Towne Centre, a nearby lifestyle village offering restaurants, shops and boutiques.
The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront offers 15,000 square feet of meeting space overall, including the spacious, open-air Shore House.
