STEVENSON, Wash.
Skamania Lodge, A Destination Hotel, has announced a property refresh for 2015, which will aim to deliver major aesthetic and technology improvements in the conference center, as well as a fresh look and feel to the 254 guest rooms.
Located 45 minutes from Portland, Ore., in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Skamania Lodge has been a destination for meetings and leisure travel since 1994 and is a member of the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC).
Skamania is now enhancing its offerings with all new audio-visual equipment, including 72-inch smart TVs and projection screens, and increased 100MB bandwidth. The conference center also has installed custom-designed wool carpeting and all-new wall coverings with a tack-able surface in natural colors that should make a visual impact on attendees.
The renovation also extends to the guest rooms, which are receiving new mattresses, linens and pillows, as well as drapery and other pops of color—along with the installation of new 48-inch TVs.
Set on 175 wooded acres, the property offers 22,000 square feet of dedicated conference and event space plus an additional 40,000 square feet of seasonal outdoor function areas.
