CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla.
Opal Sands Resort, set to open February 2016 on Clearwater Beach, Fla.'s coastline, recently celebrated the topping off of its 15-story building, as the highly anticipated project moved towards completion.
"It's an exciting time in the resort's progress—getting to visualize the full potential of its architectural beauty and watching it assume its place on Clearwater Beach," said the property’s General Manager, Jeff Castner. "We're looking forward to the next ten months of perfecting the hotel and preparing it for future guests, and establishing Opal Sands as the area's next great resort destination."
Opal Sands Resort is an OPAL Collection hotel and will offer a blend of beachfront luxury and relaxed ambiance. The 15-story property will offer 230 guest rooms and suites, each with private balconies and views of the Gulf of Mexico.
Other property lures include a sprawling zero-entry outdoor pool and sun deck, a full-service spa and fitness center, waterfront dining, a beach bar and fire pits—plus 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space for a myriad of meetings and special functions.
