The Chicago Athletic Association hotel, set to open this spring, will be located on Chicago's fashionable Michigan Avenue across from iconic Millennium Park in the city's famed Loop District
The historic building is transforming into a 241-room boutique hotel that will feature: 17,000 square feet of event space with sweeping views of Lake Michigan; elegantly-appointed guest rooms, including 23 uniquely-designed suites; an interactive game room; curated retail space by Madison Hall and multiple innovative culinary experiences.
The food and beverage outlets include a rooftop bar with captivating views of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park, restaurant concepts by Chicago-based Land & Sea Dept. and Shake Shack by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality.
The property has just announced the appointment of Vicki Poplin as Director of Sales and Marketing. As a resident of Chicago for the past 13 years, Poplin has held prominent positions in the city, such as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Denihan Hospitality, and Director of Sales and Marketing for W Chicago.
