Montage Hotels & Resorts recently announced plans to develop and operate its newest seaside resort—and first international venue—on the sweeping shores of Santa Maria Bay in Los Cabos, Mexico,
Set within the exclusive new enclave of Maravilla Los Cabos and perched upon Cabo beachfront, Montage Los Cabos will feature 122 guest rooms and suites, along with 52 Montage Residences. The grounds include 39 acres of white sand beach along the waters of Santa Maria Bay, and the property is slated to open late 2017.
Celebrating the region's tradition of indoor-outdoor living, all of Montage Los Cabos' public spaces, guest rooms and suites will be designed to frame the surrounding Baja desert landscape and the Sea of Cortez. Robert Glazier, of Glazier Architects, Inc., is taking the lead in architectural planning and design of Montage Los Cabos, and the resort plans to feature a variety of native materials and natural desert tones.
Montage Los Cabos will also offer its guests highly personalized, authentic experiences, including wellness programs and treatments at the signature Spa Montage, as well as fitness offerings at an on-site Activities Pavilion, where guests can take advantage of the resort's tennis, barefoot pitch-and-putt, basketball and recreational lawn facilities. The resort also plans to features walk-in access to snorkeling and diving at Santa Maria Bay. It will also include two pools and Montage's signature, immersive children's program, Paintbox, plus multiple dining venues emphasizing the region's abundant seafood.
With 6,100 square feet of indoor meeting and event areas, as well as multiple outdoor beachside function lawns, Montage Los Cabos will provide a diversity of spaces for functions of all kinds.
